In addition to voicing personality, Dota 2’s announcement of Muerta described her as “an endearing revenant who reveals herself with the promise of a devastating reckoning.” Which further solidifies LboyAx Gaming’s premise on the upcoming Revenant hero.

In addition, the item Revenant’s brooch is heavily linked to Muerta, as she may be the “Fallen Guardian” mentioned in this item’s lore. Additionally, the protagonist was seen wearing the item himself in the announcement trailer.Lastly, Murta’s “Revenant” nickname is largely based on the unreleased Ghost Revenant hero from Dota 1 as both heroes share similar characteristics.

Despite Muerta’s connection to the lore and Phantom Assassin persona, players will have to wait until early 2023 to get their hands on the new hero.
