Top CS:GO Teams Improve Ahead Of IEM Katowice 2022 :

Here’s how each of the best CSGO teams can do it :

FAZE

FaZe dominated the start of 2022, winning most of the tournaments they entered, but their Superstars have struggled since winning IEM Cologne in July. They need consistency from their stars. Rain, Twistz and Rope have gone missing at crucial moments, often costing them crucial tours. An additional 5% will be enough to get each phase across the finish line more times. FaZe should also start the search for a new IGL.Mastermind Carrigan has been a great servant over two Phase tenures, though at 32 there isn’t much left in his elite career.

NAVI

Navi disappointed in 2022, roster changes and Ukraine war destroyed his mental, motivation and stability.Debtor Viktor “sde” Orudzhev and Navi Jr.’s Andrey “npl” Kukharsky have been filling Electronic’s rifler position while he deputized for former IGL bumble4, though both have struggled. Moving forward, Electronic should return to rifling to improve his fragging, and NAVI should find an IGL to deliver immediate results. Team Spirit’s chopper represents an interesting option,However NAVI’s stance on the war means it is highly impossible to deal with the Russian organizations. With the roster officially out, the NPL has its work cut out for it to go into 2023.

LIQUID

Runner-up in two of their last four tournaments, Liquid is in danger of becoming a forever man. The October acquisition of YEKINDAR provided immediate power, but there’s one clear issue—the AWPer oSee doesn’t have the quality needed at the top. Liquid needed better than stars like s1mple, ZywOo, and m0NESY. Replacing OSee in 2023 could see Liquid level up their game.

HEROIC

HEROIC came on in 2022 in leaps and bounds, narrowly escaping a Rio Major win for outsiders. They are a young roster with lots of room for growth, but there is a lot of pressure on IGL Kadian to produce. The next step for Veeric is for the younger players to take on more responsibility in key moments, in order to reduce the burden on Kadian. However, they are within touching distance of greatness.

G2

It’s all coming together for G2, winning the BLAST World Finals in their first S-tier LAN tournament victory for five years. IGL Huaxi took time to adjust to his role, but appeared confident in the end. There is still a leadership mix-up for G2 to resolve, with Huoxi admitting that star-player NiKo often called him out during their big win in December. Ego must be left at the door, and G2 must find out who is leading the way.
