The Fortnite franchise has set gaming on fire ever since the launch in 2017. Fortnite has three distinct game mode versions that otherwise share the same general gameplay and game engine. Fortnite: Save the World is a cooperative hybrid-tower defense-shooter-survival game for up to four players to fight off zombie-like creatures and defend objects with traps and fortifications they can build. Fortnite Battle Royale, a free-to-play battle royale game in which up to 100 players fight to be the last person standing; and Fortnite Creative, in which players are given complete freedom to create worlds and battle arenas.

Fortnite Battle Royale in particular became a resounding success – drawing in more than 125 million players in less than a year, earning hundreds of millions of dollars per month, and becoming a cultural phenomenon. Recently, Fortnite’s Season 5 has a special chapter where it gives options to gamers to pick a landing spot. There is one part, though, that gamers should particularly avoid. It is the death traps around Apollo Island which gives the players no chance of survival. Here is the list of the deadliest landing spots in Fortnite that players should avoid.

Colossal Coliseum

The Colossal Coliseum changes its interiors in every new game. Home to Menace, this location sports 18 chests, 10 ammo boxes, and 78 pieces of ground loot, as well as plenty of areas to hide and surprise foes.

Stealthy Stronghold

Stealthy Stronghold is the home of the Predator. The Stronghold is home to 27 chests, 12 ammo boxes and 63 pieces of ground loot. The walled and closed enclosure makes it difficult to escape. For more experienced players, it is a bit easier but new members will find it hard.

Pleasant Park

The name might be pleasant but it is one of the deadliest landing spots in Fortnite Chapter 2. It has 18 chests, 45 ammo boxes and 77 pieces of ground loot. It is the home of Doggo and that might increase the body count.

Lazy Lake

This landing is guarded by IO Soldiers as well as There are 32 chests, 89 ammo boxes, 2 produce boxes and 108 pieces of ground loot. The IO Soldiers also possess Rapscallion and Sparkplug to dish out quests and provide additional firepower

Salty Towers

This is one of the new additions in Fortnite Chapter 2 Season 5 and it is THE deadliest of the lot. Close to the center of the map, there are 26 chests, 10 ammo boxes, 4 produce boxes, 1 freezer, 92 pieces of ground loot, and 3 Slurp barrels. This is the most profitable but also the deadliest as the tall tower in the landing area makes every player a sitting duck.
