So far, the game’s ‘Social’ menu is not working as expected. This section allows you to check the current status of your friends, who may be “In Game” or “Online”, letting you know whether or not you can join their lobby.If it were working correctly, the friends in the social menu would display under your active friends or friends on the platform, allowing you to invite or join them. However, friends attempting to join from the ‘Friends’ tab are currently being brought up on the main menu.

1. On your Warzone 2’s game main menu, hit the ‘Channels’ button, which has an icon resembling a pair of headphones in the top right.
2. Press on ‘Create your own channel’, name your channel and presson ‘Save all your create channel’.
3. You can now select up to four friends you want to join your lobby and send an invite. Invited friends will receive a notification in their game that they must accept in order to join your lobby in Warzone 2.
4. If you want to join a friend’s channel, click the “Channel” option in the top right, and if they’ve created their channel and set their privacy to open, you’ll see it appear in that menu, All you have to do is choose to join their lobby.

The above method is currently the only way to play the game with friends. Infinity Ward has acknowledged the issue and is working on a fix in Call of Duty: Warzone 2, the current playlist allows players to play Battle Royale Solo, Duo, Quads, Third Person Trios, and Unhinged Trios, allowing them to join other Squads in Al Mazra.
