Call of Duty: Warzone Season 1 is just four weeks away from its finale and we’ll get a major content update with the arrival of Season 2 next month. Other content expected with the arrival of Season 2 includes the Ronin operator, new weapons, new battle passes, bug fixes, a resurgence map, and potentially the introduction of Building 21 in The Warzone. The rank play is also coming on February 15, which will allow players to compete against players with similar skills and climb the rank ladder for bragging rights and rewards. A new season of Call of Duty is coming soon, with a new Battle Pass and more updates to multiplayer and Battle Royale to be brought, but a dataminer claims that season 2 is going to be delayed for Modern Warfare 2 and Warzone 2.
Activision hasn’t announced the date yet, but based on the days left over in Season 1’s Battle Pass, the Season 2 update was anticipated to go live on or around February 1. Now, known Call of Duty dataminer COD Sploitz, who has accurately revealed release dates in the past, is suggesting that season 2 is about to be delayed. COD Sploitz claims that datamining suggests that the Season 1 bundle will arrive on February 2 with a February 15 expiration date, which he believes should start on or after February 15. Datamined shop bundles have been used in the past to help set start and end times for the Call of Duty season, so it’s very possible that the second season of Modern Warfare 2 and Warzone 2 could be delayed by two weeks.
