British esports organization Lionsclash presents a new Valorant Lionsclash competition aimed at university students and higher education in the UK. A total of 12 schools are participating in LionsClash, with the top two teams competing in the LAN Finals at ESI Next Gen, a one and a half day eSports business conference specializing in the education market. Lionscreed claims that the tournament also opens up other opportunities for students outside of competitive gameplay. This includes work experience so that students can better understand the e-sports sector; a chance to learn from some of the Lionscreeds brands; and an invitation to the ESI Next Gen eSports business focused conference.According to the organization, 12 teams will be supported by Lionscreed throughout the tournament. In addition, Lions Clash will provide many opportunities to the student eSports community. This includes presenting experiences and opportunities directly to students, including opportunities to gain work experience within eSports organizations through their ‘Buddy System’.

Students who are looking for specific experience within eSports organizations are partnered with individuals working at Lionsclash within the system. As a result, it intends to give them an insight into the industry. Roles like management, broadcasting and production have been offered for work experience. Students will also focus on gaining a broad understanding of how the e-sports industry works. As such, there are opportunities to learn about brand relationships and partnerships.

The Esports Center at the University of Warwick will host ESI, Next Gen, an event developed through Esports Insider’s partnership with the University of Warwick, on 22-23 March. The conference is expected to bring together esports, gaming and education leaders. As a result, there will be networking opportunities, industry related content and educational content.
