Valorant has teased an Oni 2.0 bundle after almost three years after its release. This piece of information has caused a stir among fans who are expressing their excitement online.

The first Oni bundle was released in July 2021, only after two months after the game’s release. Since then, the skin line has attracted a huge player base and fans, thanks to its themes of feudal Japan and mythology.

Other skins released during the initial months of Valorant’s launch already received the 2.0 treatment. Notably the Reaver, Ion, and Prime collections. But several fans of the Oni were left waiting for years, and Finally, Riot has taken that into account.

Oni 2.0 bundle teased

In a teaser tweet for the skin, the developers have also included the iconic Oni mask alongside four Katanas stuck into the ground. The caption reads, in Kanji, again.

The tweet teased some things. The knife for Oni’s second installment will be a katana of some kind, in contrast to the claw blade of its precursor. It’s expected that the Vandal will also see the same fate as Oni, and possibly the Classic as well.

Its previous iteration saw the Phantom, Guardian, Shorty, and Bucky in the Oni bundle, and now the game is planning to expand the lineup. The bundle might set players back by around 8,700 to 7,100VP, around $85 to purchase the required amount of VP, just like the other 2.0 versions of older skins. However, this is not yet confirmed by Riot.

As of now, there is no officially released date. But it could be officially announced at the end of VCT Lock/IN tournament. As Riot likes making big announcements or content additions to the game at the tail end of each important VCT event. Currently, there is also no confirmation for which weapons will feature in the bundle.

How to fix Valorant version mismatch error?

The Valorant version mismatch error occurs when players fire up the game without updating it. This might occur whenever a new patch has been released and can prevent players from queuing for matches.

Players who are facing this issue in-game can follow the simple steps listed below:

  • Players need to exit the game
  • Now, they need to relaunch the Riot Client installed on their PC.
  • They will get a prompt to download the latest version
  • Once it’s updated to the latest version, players will be able to play the game again normally

However, there can be times when the version mismatch persists even after players update the game. In such cases, players should try to uninstall the game completely and reinstall a fresh copy.

A fresh installation will make sure all the necessary files are placed accordingly by the game’s client. Players should also note that updates go live in certain regions earlier. During that time, all they can do is wait for the update to become available in their region and then download it.
