VALORANT has been exclusive to PC gamers ever since it came out in 2020. But now, things are about to change. Yes, the game is finally making its way to consoles. Riot Games has multiple titles that expand from FPS to MMOs and can be enjoyed on both PC and mobile.

Now, VALORANT will soon be making its way to consoles. It’s unclear if there will be any exclusivity for either PlayStation or Xbox as of now, but it’s safe to assume the game is coming to consoles.

Riot devs have been trying to figure out ways and looking for talent around the world for their console teams. This might just seem like they were hiring because they lacked manpower, and that would explain all the issues players faced with the new character Harbor.

The launch date for VALORANT on consoles is yet to be confirmed. Sadly, players will have to wait for a few weeks to know more about when the game is coming to consoles.

Earlier this year during the Xbox showcase, it was announced that the Xbox Game Pass would join hands with Riot to offer special perks to players. This includes unlocking different card packs in games including Legends of Runeterra, unlocking all champions in LoL, all agents in VALORANT.

Besides the Riot-Microsoft partnership for Xbox, a VALORANT insider revealed on Twitter that the game publisher has added two new icons to the game for both consoles. These were found in the game files after the Patch 5.03 was released. While Riot is yet to make it official about the game’s arrival to other platforms, there have been several leaks that suggest it could be coming to consoles very soon.

VALORANT has been compared to other FPS games such as Counter-Strike and Overwatch ever since it hit the gaming scene. This is because the game offers a mixture of gunplay and character abilities.

While Counter-Strike is also restricted to PCs, Overwatch has always allowed players to enjoy the game on multiple platforms. Overwatch has seen success with being an FPS game with abilities on platforms such as Xbox, giving hope to VALORANT developers that the game could rake in more business.

It is certainly coming to other platforms, and players will be eagerly waiting for its announcement.
