Valorant players who do not have access to a microphone, All Chat and Team Chat are very crucial for them. The ability to pass on accurate information to the team can make a big difference between the winning and losing side in a round. Thankfully, using the chat functions in the game is pretty easy and straightforward.

How to Team Chat in Valorant

Accessing Team Chat can be done very easily. It can help a player’s teammates get an understanding of a certain situation or let them discuss while another teammate is trying to clutch a round to win it. To open the team chat function, all a player needs to do is just hit “Enter” on their keyboard.

How to All Chat in Valorant

All Chat offers a significantly smaller functional use when compared to Team Chat. Players can use it primarily to trash talk their opponents, and has nothing more to offer outside of that. Players could also ask the opponent who killed them what their HP was at or maybe try and tilt the other team, but they shouldn’t heavily rely on using the feature. Players can use All Chat by holding “Shift” before pressing “Enter”.

Overall, the chat functions are good to have, but are unnecessary if players have a mic at their disposal. It’s nice if players know how to use the chat functions in the game, but good voice comms will make text feel unnecessary any day they play the game. For players stuck with the chat feature, though, it’s good to know how to use it.
