Getting a VALORANT gift card might seem like a challenge at first for players. While a majority of players welcome physical mementos from their beloved titles, none of them will miss out on a chance to get their hands on more skins.

The amount of cosmetics and skins available in the game continues to grow with each patch, which means players will never have enough VALORANT points to get them all. Players who have received a gift card and are looking to surprise a friend, will have to know to redeem them since they would want to explore the in-game shop as soon as possible.

While this is not very common, Riot Games pushes promotional or seasonal codes that players can redeem to get cosmetics for free. Riot gift cards can be bought for four different prices: $10, $25, $50, and $100. These gift cards are digitally available on Amazon in the US, New Zealand, Australia, and Canada. With more retailers jumping on the wagon, these gift cards are expected to become physically available as well.

Players should note that all gift cards are PC-only and can be purchased only in the mentioned regions. It means if players purchase a gift card in the US or Canada, they will only be able to redeem it on the North American server.

How to redeem VALORANT gift card?

  • Players need to launch VALORANT and log into their accounts.
  • Now, they need to select the VALORANT icon next to the Store tab.
  • Now, they need to choose “Prepaid Cards and Codes”
  • They will be prompted with a pop-up screen where they need to enter their code
  • Players need to type in or copy-paste the code and hit “Submit”
  • Once submitted, the rewards will automatically get delivered to the player’s account

While the process of activating a code seems straightforward, the error messages that appear upon making a mistake could be a bit intimidating. It’s likely that players may have entered in the wrong character when a code doesn’t work.

But if nothing seems to be working to redeem the code, players will have to reach out the merchant they bought it from. If they have a receipt or any proof of purchase, they should immediately be able to sort out the problem and get a new code.

Besides, some codes can only be redeemed through the website redeem.playvalorant.com but at times of big giveaways or events like the Duality Player Card, the site has struggled a bit. If that’s the case, players are advised to give it some time and it should fix itself.
