Valorant Challengers Spain: Rising, Riot Games’ Spanish regional circuit powered by tournament organizer LVP, has revealed the venue for its first split finals in 2023.The final of the regional competition will take place at the Municipal Theater of Torrevieja in Alicante. Division one of the circuits begins on January 8 with online round-robin matches involving 10 teams. The Valorant Championship Tour, or VCT for short, is about to begin, and Riot Games announced a new format for the event earlier this year. The organizers also gave the VCT a partnership system.The theater will host the final match of the division on March 11 where the remaining two teams will compete to win a bigger share of the prize pool.

Details on the prize money have not been revealed yet.Valorant Challengers is technically the third level of Riot’s competitive ecosystem, with teams from Challengers Spain: Rising competing for a chance to join the Ascension tournament.The North American Valorant Challengers League, one of 20+ regional leagues worldwide, will begin on January 9th with a series of exciting Open Qualifiers. The 2023 league will feature 12 teams in the largest field of the Challengers circuit and will join the best teams from North America, Brazil and LATAM in the Americas Ascension tournament and eventually take the stage in the highly anticipated global Valorant tournament.

The winners of the newly formed Challengers Ascension events will qualify for its international leagues.LVP is no stranger to competitive Valorant. In 2020, the organizer was commissioned by Riot Games to run Valorant Challengers Spain: Rising and over the past two years, it has secured sponsorship with the likes of pizza chain Domino’s and technology company Intel.With the conclusion of off//season competition, most teams have confirmed their lineups. Valorant esports’ 2023 season begins with regional Challenger leagues, and the International Split will begin in February with LOCK//IN in Brazil.
