Following Prime Gaming’s unintentional leak of Valorant’s next up and coming agent, the game’s developers at Riot pulled off a curtain lifter on Neon, who is scheduled to be revealed as part of Episode 4 Act 1. Valorant Agent Neon officially teased after leak by Prime Gaming.
Fans frequently visit the Prime Gaming page to see if there is any new material, but this time they were surprised to see the first glimpse at Neon, the next fresh new agent to be added to Valorant.
During the VCT Champions Finals opening ceremony, she was teased with the codename “Sprinter.” A silhouette consisting of strings of numbers and letters was shown in the short movie, as a woman’s voice, presumed to be Neon’s, echoed in the background.
Although Prime Gaming eventually retracted the disclosure, the community was able to screen clip the content before it went widespread on the internet. Due to the growing amount of speculation, Riot has opted to reveal their next agency, with more details to be revealed by the former within the next week.
The only thing we’ve deciphered is that Neon is from the Philippines, as a prior blog post from Valorant had a letter for the community, greeting everyone with “Mga kaibigan ko,” which translates to “My Friends” in English, and ending with “Maraming salamat!” which means “Thanks a lot!”
Neon did actually utilise one of her voice lines during the Valorous Champions 2021, which said “hope they like getting hit by lightning,” followed by a caution to “get ready” since she can “move really quickly,” presumably hinting at her ultimate power.
For the time being, we have no idea if Neon will enter the ranks as a Duelist, Sentinel, or Controller. She’ll be released as part of Episode 4 Act 1, which will be released on January 12th.
