V Rising comes with a huge open-world map, which is pretty common in survival games launched in recent times. This map is divided into several regions such as Farbane Woods, Dunley Farmlands, Silverlight Hills, and more. Each area features a biome and a cast of enemies.

While getting from point A to point B on a horse is one way to travel, a faster way to travel is through Vampire Waygates. These Waygates are V Rising’s way of incorporating fast travel. Using a Vampire Waygate can transport the player from one place to another in the game in a jiffy.

It’s likely that players will come across at least a few of these Waygates while playing the game. Each area features a natural pool of Vampire Waygates prebuilt; the count is generally between one to four gates, as per the zone players are in. Here’s how to fast travel in the game.

The best way to find these fast travel points is by looking around the corners of each area. For instance, Farbane Woods has four Waygates; one in the top left, top right, lower left, and lower right corner. Players will find large stone structures with three stone pillars.

Once players manage to find a Vampire Waygate, they can simply use the portal to fast travel. But before that, here are a few things they should keep in mind:

  • Equipment and consumables can be taken through.
  • Resources are now allowed to be taken through the Waygate.
  • Vampire Waygates have to be revisited by players to be used.
  • Crafted Vampire Waygates can only used by the owner.

To craft a Vampire Waygate, players are required to take down Polora the Feywalker. Players will come across her in Gleaming Meadows to the west of Farbane Woods. Since she’s a level 34 boss, it’s recommended to suit up with iron gear before getting into a fight with her. Once Polora the Feywalker is killed, players will know how to build Vampire Waygates.

Crafting Vampire Waygates requires:

  • 200 Blood Essence
  • 20 Planks
  • 20 Copper Ingots
  • 10 Gem Dust
