An announcement from GodLike Esports confirmed that former TSM Player has joined GodLike Esports. This new, though welcomed by GodLike fans, has faced a lot of flak. The organisation has been accused of player poaching by TSM. Arjun “Shadow” Mandhalkar has been a part of the community and was an active part of the TSM roaster till he was benched because the team was trying new things and Shadow was not fitting in the puzzle they were trying to make. Shadow is going to join the team as an IGL since their last IGL, Clutchgod was also benched after the tea, had been struggling since BGIS 2021. Under the leadership of Shadow, TSM had won a lot tournaments but the team had failed to make it to the Round 4 of BMOC and same was the case with GodLike. They had also failed to qualify.

After the announcement came in, an Instagram post from TSM India and TSM Armin also came out in which they accused GodLike of getting in touch with a contracted player and “poaching” him without getting in touch with the concerned organisation. While GodLike is yet to answer these questions or response to these allegations, a lot has been talked about fair practice and going the professional route to recruit a player in the team.

The allegations were further elaborated up by Armin, who said that “there has been no communication with TSM and the player is still in contract but Shadow has been registered for the event with GodLike Esports.” He further continued to say that TSM will ensure that the business is done professionally. He said that TSM was ready to loan him, but that was not even discussed.

Shadow also took to Instagram and told his side of the story and why he made the move without completing the legal obligations. He accused the organisation of ill treating and exploiting the players. He went on to say he was humiliated, frustrated, and harassed. Therefore, he decided to move on to different ventures.
