Regardless of which genre of anime you like to watch, there will always be stories of heartbreak and triumph. Such moments shape the characters and make them learn from their past experiences and grow as the series progresses. However, it can be difficult for fanatics who love these anime characters to watch them suffer, even if it makes a great story.

While most anime characters deserve to be happy, there are some unfortunate ones that have dealt with suffering in life that fans aren’t ready to accept. Whether it’s the character’s will to take on adversity or its ability to push despite unfavorable conditions, a hero’s journey is incomplete without achieving everything they suffered for. Let’s have a look at some anime characters that deserve happy endings.

Bojji from Ranking of Kings

This character is known for smiling through the pain, which makes everyone fall in love with him. As a prince, Bojji is destined to have a lot of responsibilities, but because he is deaf, people around him take his intelligence for granted and consider him incapable of becoming a king.

It goes without saying that the treatment Bojji gets is tearing him apart from the inside, but he continues to keep that smile on his face all the time. His resilience has instantly made him a fan favorite. Bojji deserves happiness not because he is deaf, but because he has never given up on life.
