1.Karma humiliates Pacman

Search and Destroy can play host to some really incredible plays, but sometimes, those plays don’t work out the way the players wanted. This was perfectly exemplified during Black Ops 3 season in the match between OpTic Gaming and TSM. Damon “Karma” Barlow and Jonathan “Pacman” Tucker were in a 1-vs-1 on Hunted Search and Destroy. Karma was forced to plant the bomb, but as he was about to do so, Pacman followed him.

Using an unorthodox firearm, the Argus, Pacman sets up directly behind Karma to shoot it down after planting the bomb. Like Jack Ryan, Pacman took risks without the aid of his team. However, as these things sometimes happen, Pacman missed his shot, prompting Karma to use his Heat Wave ability, turn around, and kill Pacman for the win.

2.FormaL FTL Jumps past Clayster

Expert abilities have created some amazing and hilarious drama over the years. At Infinity War, Matthew “Formal” Piper and OpTic went up against James “Clayster” Eubanks and FaZe Clan. In Search and Destroy, OpTic needed one round to win the map, but FormaL and Clayster were in a 1v1. Luckily for Kleister, he knew exactly where Formiel was, and he managed to get himself into a perfect position.

Unfortunately, his shots weren’t accurate, which gave Formael time to use his FTL jump ability, throw Kleister, and shoot easily for the win. FormaL’s reading of the CoD situation embodies Jack Ryan’s instincts but the moral of the story is: don’t miss shots on enemies with specialist abilities.

3.The overpowered Lightning Strike :

In CoD Esports, few in-game items are more powerful than killstreaks. They are usually a prime target for players to earn in any game, as they can turn the tide for a team in the blink of an eye. Of course, if they are used incorrectly, they can easily turn the tide of the opposing team. FaZe Clan player Matthew “Scrapz” Marshall found this out the hard way during the Black Ops 4 tournament.

On the Gridlocked hardpoint, Skarpz was doing quite well, going on a long kill streak and earning himself a Lightning Strike. This streak is primarily used to clear a team from a hardpoint that ScarpZ intends to use. However, he did not check where his teammates were before calling the strike. Despite his rationality, being impulsive is a character trait that even John Krasinski’s Jack Ryan is guilty of at times.Unfortunately in this case, Scarpz’s impulsiveness gets him killed by almost every one of his comrades, including himself.

4.Your biggest enemy is yourself :

There is an old saying, “But the biggest enemy you can have will always be yourself.” This doesn’t always apply in CoD, but don’t tell that to Sean “pemby” Pembroke. During a match at Infinite Warfare, Pemby and his Amity team were in a Search and Destroy match against Str8 Repin. The map was tied 3-3 and Pembi was in a 1v1 which he could have easily won. However, instead of winning the round, Pemby decided to play some tricks and did a spectacular wall-to-wall maneuver.

It didn’t turn out in his favor to say the least. Pemby kills himself in the worst possible way, jumping off the map and losing the round for his team.

5.Clayster gets gunned :

There is no better search and destroy experience than seeing your enemy in a defenseless position, especially during 1v1. all the time the defenseless palyer and users in gam has no way to to escape out. However, like the Jack Ryan episode, there’s always a chance for the unexpected in CoD, and Kleister was again on the wrong side of history. During an Infinite Warfare map of Search and Destroy on Crusher, Kleister was in a 1-vs-1 against Jonathan “Jon” Perez.
