Tokyo MX has recently released the second promotional video and main key visual for their upcoming anime, Too Cute Crisis, set to premiere on April 7 at 10:30 p.m. JST. The video reveals and previews the opening theme song, “Space Cat Big Bang” by Chōgakusei, and the ending theme song, “Nyanbori de Moffi!!” by DIALOGUE+. The anime will also air on BS Asahi and Kansai TV.

Too Cute Crisis follows Liza Luna, a space empire Azatos member sent to Earth to destroy the planet, only to have a change of heart after encountering a cute cat at a café. The show is a sci-fi comedy and promises to be a unique and enjoyable viewing experience.

Meet the Cast of Too Cute Crisis

The anime will feature Natsumi Fujiwara as Yozora, Yumiri Hanamori as Liza Luna, Jin Ogasawara as Seiji Mukai, and Saya Aizawa as Kasumi Yanagi. Other cast members include Ayasa Itō as Garumi Lou, Yume Miyamoto as Rasta Cole, Yūichi Nakamura as Amato Roy, Reina Kondo as Fianna Tierley, Hikaru Midorikawa as Mitsuhiko Azumi, Miyu Tomita as Sasara Azumi, Kenichi Ogata as Mikiti Furupururin, Takehito Koyasu as Shamil Naga, Kyōka Moriya as Mitra Lil, Reina Ueda as Komachi Kokage, and Nene Hieda as Nazuna Endō.

Production Team Behind the Scenes

The anime is directed by Jun Hatori, known for producing Taisho Otome Fairy Tale. The series script is supervised and written by Aya Satsuki, who previously worked on My Master Has No Tail. The characters are designed by Mayumi Watanabe, who worked on Kakyūsei and Kamiwaza Wanda. Shun Narita and Yūsuke Seo composed the music.

Haruko Seto is the colour key artist, Chiho Wada directs the art, and Hiroki Tsubouchi is the compositing director of photography. Hideaki Murai is the editor, Nozomi Nakatani is the sound director, and Yuka Kazama is in charge of sound effects. Bit Grooove Promotion handles sound production, and Pony Canyon is responsible for music production.

About the Manga

Mitsuru Kido’s Kawaisugi Crisis (Too Cute Crisis) manga started serialization in Shueisha’s Jump Square magazine in October 2019 and is also available on Shonen Jump+. The seventh volume of the manga will be published by Shueisha on April 4, just three days before the anime’s premiere.
