Gotōbun no Hanayome: Goto Pazu Story, the latest console game in The Quintessential Quintuplets franchise, has been delayed to June 29 from its original release date of May 25. MAGES., the developer, cited the delay as necessary to improve the game’s quality. The game is set to release for Nintendo Switch and PlayStation 4, and pre-orders have been available since February 10.

Game Details

The console game is a version of the Gotōbun no Hanayome: Itsutsugo-chan wa Puzzle wo Gotōbun Dekinai smartphone game, which launched in October 2020. It will only contain the fully voiced story part of the smartphone game. Natsumi Takamori, who voices Raiha Uesugi, will perform the game’s theme song.

MAGES. previously developed Gotōbun no Hanayome Natsu no Omoide mo Gotōbun, which was released in Japan for PS4 and Switch in March 2021. They also developed Eiga Gotōbun no Hanayome Kimi to Sugoshita Itsutsu no Omoide, the video game adaptation of the Eiga Gotōbun no Hanayome sequel anime film, which launched for PS4 and Switch in June 2022.

The franchise’s third original console game, Gotōbun no Hanayome: Kanojo to Kawasu Itsutsu no Yakusoku, is set to release on September 7 for Nintendo Switch and PlayStation 4.

Anime and Manga Details

The Quintessential Quintuplets anime’s first season aired for 12 episodes from January 2019. The second season aired from January to March 2021, and the franchise’s movie, The Quintessential Quintuplets the Movie, opened in Japan in May 2022. The film serves as the finale for the story and was screened in the United States and Canada with English subtitles and an English dub on December 2 by Crunchyroll.

Negi Haruba created the original manga for Kodansha’s Weekly Shōnen Magazine in August 2017 and ended the series in February 2020. The Quintessential Quintuplets ∽, a new anime, is currently in production and will adapt stories not previously seen in the previous anime projects.
