The novel series was started by Nenjuu in June 2018 and concluded in February 2022 on the website Shsetsuka Ni Nar (“Let’s Be Novelists”). In January and June of 2019, respectively, SB Creative released the first and second volumes of the book, both of which featured artwork by B-Ginga.

In 2020, Satsuki released the manga adaption on the Gangan Online website, Square Enix’s Manga UP! Web manga site, and the Manga UP! Mobile app. The manga is also being published in English on the Global Manga UP! Website and mobile app. It provides a summary of the narrative:

(I Enrolled to Become a Swordsman, But My Magical Aptitude is 9999!), and it was completed in 2019. There are eight books in the series of novels. The ongoing manga adaptation of the books by iimAn and Kurudaz debuted in December 2017 in Dragon Age, a publication published by Fujimi Shobo. The manga’s eleventh volume was released on January 7 by Kadokawa.
