The fans are excited for The Irregular at Magic High School Season 3 Episode 8 which will be out soon. It would have been amazing to witness the Nine School Competition in action. Regrettably, that is no longer the central focus of this storyline. Ice Pillar Break and Monolith Code are two events that I’ve always looked forward to. Unfortunately, Battle Board and Speed Shooting will not be returning this year.

Seeing Miyuki act selfishly for a change is intriguing. Since Tatsuya’s health is more vital than that of their fellow students, she essentially told him to ignore them and let the P-Dolls destroy them.

Recap and Review

This is the reasoning behind Hayami Saori’s casting as Miyuki. Witnessing her Onii-sama toss and turn like a headless chicken in search of clues he can’t locate brings Miyuki to tears. If Miyuki hadn’t won, Tatsuya would have considered just bombing the steeplechase course to end it all. Oh, no!

Tatsuya is able to calm down and organize his thoughts after Miyuki urged him to do so, allowing him to draw conclusions that are closer to the reality.

His special operations comrade Lt. Fujibayashi Kyoko—who also happened to be Old Man Kudo’s granddaughter—had to inform him on the specifics of the Kudo/JDF steeplechase experiment and outfit him with a suit so he could kill the Parasite dolls.

Master Yakumo, Lt. Fujibayashi, and Major Kazama, Tatsuya’s special operations superior, further demonstrated in the last scene how unlikely it was that the Parasite dolls would go insane because of the Restraining Spell. (Those eyes made me worry that Yakumo was about to betray Tatsuya, but he luckily didn’t.) But Yakumo must have been aware that Tatsuya is listening in nearby; he likely wanted Tatsuya to make up his own mind about whether or not to step in and halt the experiment.

Following Kazama’s revelation that Zhou Gongjin is responsible for sneaking the Parasite dolls’ “defectors” into control, Yakumo appears to be aware of Zeb.
