The Naruto series has been running for decades and over the course of its course, it has featured an impressive set of jutsus. While some jutsus are fairly easy to perform, some are extremely difficult. Some jutsu are difficult to perform because they require chakra manipulation, chakra reserves, and a thorough understanding of chakra flow. Let’s take a look at some of the hardest and easiest jutsu that Naruto has performed over the course of the series. The 5 Hardest Jutsus Naruto Ever Does (And the 5 Easiest Ones)

Naruto has used some of the difficult moves in the series

1) Super Tailed Beast Rasenshuriken

Rasenshuriken is one of the most difficult techniques to master throughout the series. Naruto takes that technique to another level in Six Paths Sage Mode. He creates eight different Shadow clones, each a Rasenshuriken combined with the unique chakra of each one-tailed beast.

It’s ridiculously difficult to make multiple rasenshurikens at the same time, and being able to combine each tailed animal’s unique chakras is even more complicated. He used it against Kaguya because he didn’t really know the type of chakra that would weaken him.

2) Tailed Beast Mode

The Nine Tails Chakra Mode is a significant technology/change in Naruto’s repertoire. This mode makes use of Kurama’s chakra, enhancing the Jinchuriki’s overall physical abilities. It is difficult to master because of the ability to control the chakra. If the jinchuriki doesn’t have the necessary control over the tailed animal, it can take over the former’s consciousness and make them fearless.

3) Sage Mode

It is incredibly difficult to master this technique/transformation. Any shinobi intending to use this technique requires large chakra levels. Additionally, this technique involves a very delicate balance of natural energies and chakras.
Too little natural energy will not allow shinobi to enter sage mode, while excess amounts can turn a human body into stone. Too much natural energy can also turn a shinobi’s body into an animal that corresponds to the school of senjutsu they were learning from. Therefore, Sage Mode is a very difficult technique to master in the series.

4) Rasenshuriken

There’s a reason Kakashi admitted that Naruto was one of the few people who could actually pull this off. His huge chakra stockpile allowed him to create many shadow clones which were experience accumulated during his overall training. He was tasked with adding wind releases to his existing Rasengan, which would create a new technology. This is one of the most difficult jutsu to master throughout the series.

5) Rasengan

Rasengan is one of the most used techniques in Naruto’s arsenal. He uses it so often that there are so many memes about how he doesn’t really strategize and dive into a fight with a Rasengan first. The reason this jutsu is difficult is the chakra manipulation. The wheel needs to be directed in a certain way which causes an inward circular motion, producing a destructive force when it comes into contact with the target.

Some of the easiest techniques in Naruto’s repertoire

1) Naruto Uzumaki barrage

The Uzumaki Barrage is a technique developed by Naruto that is featured in the early series. It was technically copied by Naruto watching Sasuke’s “Lions Barrage”. But it doesn’t make much sense. That’s all, it’s a continuous kicking combo move.

The user then brings the target back to the ground. It is a combination of some taijutsu moves that are used to inflict slight damage on the target.

2) Transformation technique

This is a technique that is fairly elementary that is taught to all the students of the academy. It is a technique that allows the user to reveal themselves as the person they wish to imitate.
During the earlier parts of the series, fans noticed that Iruka was training students to transform, and Naruto used this technique to get closer to Sakura to look like Sasuke.

3) Shadow Clone jutsu

Shadow Clone is one of the most commonly used techniques by Jutsu heroes. It is a technique that allows him to create clones. These copies can also perform the same techniques the user is capable of. However, shadow clones can be easily destroyed.

This may be a simple technique, but when combined with other tricks and tips, it can be quite useful. This technique was used by Naruto when he was learning Rasengan.

4) Substitution jutsu

The substitution jutsu was one of the first jutsu to be used in the show. Kakashi often uses it during the opening episodes of Naruto. Jutsu allows a ninja to exchange himself for something else, such as a log or bunny and the exchanged item will take on the weight of an incoming attack.
He was taken in by some of the academy’s instructors, who decided to discipline him. This technique is not so difficult to perform as it is similar to a transformation jutsu. However, it is very specific and meant to distract people.

5) Harem jutsu

Naruto was extremely mischievous and constantly made fun of his superiors. They didn’t even spare the Hokage of that time. In his office, the young boy decided to use a harem jutsu, which caught the latter off guard.
He was taken in by some of the academy’s instructors, who decided to discipline him. This technique is not so difficult to perform as it is similar to a transformation jutsu. However, it is very specific and meant to distract people.
