Chivas Esports is the esports division of the Mexican soccer team Club Deportivo Guadalajara, also known as Chivas.In January 2019, Chivas announced through its official site, that they would have an esports team that would be participating in Clash Royale. Their debut was in the LPE which is the biggest league for sports clubs in Europe. After this, they began to have incursions into other esports, such as FIFA and Fortnite. With this, Chivas Esports has become one of the fastest growing esports organizations in Mexico in recent years, they have also established a bootcamp for their players. The team entered the League of Legends scene within the Division de Honor 2020, occupying the vacated position of Mad Lions E.C. Mexico.

The management has always been experimenting with the team and have made lots of changes throughout the journey. On January 25th 2019, Chivas Esports signed xS4NDOV4Lx, KiKi, JC, Pompeyo4 and Vega Light as coaches. On March 22nd, Chivas Esports signed more players Anaban, Kaneee, Pedrito and Trainer Chris. April 12th,Chivas Esports welcomes SergioRamos. September 26th, Chivas Esports welcomes VitaaL, Everardo^^, Josue Montes, Reyleorotano™, Pavini. September 26th, Chivas Esports announces roster for LM S02 – Huge, Kaneee, kevin RA, KiKi as captain and DarkLight. October 9th, Chivas Esports announces roster for CCS – Josue Montes, Kevin RA, Kiki, Davu, JC, Garsill as players, Et5on and iDanny as coaches.

On January 7th 2020, Chivas Esports ended its contract with Huge, Pavini, Reyleorotano™ and iDanny. January 14th, Chivas Esports welcomes Omar. February 7th, Chivas Esports says goodbye to KiKi. April 18th, Chivas Esports announces roster for No Tilt League SE – Adrian Piedra, Pompeyo4, Anaban, kevin RA, Richard and kidkid. April 18th, Chivas Esports announces No Tilt League staff – JoseVTS and Mad Raider as coaches and Juanca as analyst. May 9th, Chivas Esports ends its contract with Kaneee, Josue Montes and Everardo^^. May 12th, Chivas Esports announces roster for No Tilt League – Jose Jimenez, Carlos Cruz, LevySG, Dark Light, KiKi and Anthony as players, Et5on, Mad Raider and VitaaL as coaches and Sekutor as analyst. May 15th, Chivas Esports announces roster for CRL – Adrian Piedra, Anaban, Richard and Pompeyo4 as players, JoseVTS and Mad Raider as coaches and Juanca as analyst.
