ESL India in association with NODWIN Gaming is organizing this New State Mobile tournament, which is the largest in terms of total prize pool (INR 1,00,00,000) and tournament size in India. The event started as a grassroots tournament but has transformed into a top level competition, building excitement through some high octane action.

A total of 32 teams will compete as part of the Challenger Stage, 16 directly invited teams and 16 that have qualified through open qualifiers.Only the top 24 teams will advance to the next stage of the tournament, the Challenger Finals, which is set to take place in an offline setup.

The Challenger phase will take place from January 5 to 15, with all 32 teams playing each other across eight match days. Five games will be played on each match day, resulting in a total of 40 games. The map order for each day would be Erangel > Troi > Erangel > Troi > Erangel.
However, there is no official statement on what format will be followed for this phase of the tournament. As in previous examples, the 32 teams will likely be divided into four groups of eight teams each. This could be followed by a round-robin format where each group plays against the other on set days and the top 24 teams on the leaderboard make it to the next stage.
The tournament has a total prize pool of INR 1,00,00,000 which roughly translates to around $120,927 USD. However, this only takes effect from the next step. The SPS New State Mobile Open India Challenger Finals will distribute the prize pool among the top 24 teams based on their final placements.
The tournament will be broadcast live on ESL India in association with NODWIN Gaming in Hindi on multiple streaming platforms such as YouTube, Facebook and Loco. The livestream for the tournament will begin at 17:00 (IST) on each match day.
