The expectations for Tundra Esports to win The International 11 (TI11) were not as high as those of some of the other teams with more recognisable names, despite the fact that the team was one of the better teams that entered the competition. However, after giving a stellar performance throughout, the Western European team went on to win the most prestigious Dota 2 tournament in 2022. In a recent post-match winner’s interview, team captain Wu “Sneyking” Jingjun stated that he was not yet through with winning TI. Sneyking aims to beat OG’s record of two straight victories in TIs by claiming three straight victories. As he spoke, the player at position five also discussed the adjustments his squad members made in the wake of Tundra’s victory the previous season.

In order to surpass OG’s two-in-a-row record, Sneyking needs to win three TIs in a row

Tundra Esports is presently participating in the BetBoom Universe: Episode I – Comics Zone before departing for Lima, Peru for the opening Major of the Dota Pro Circuit (DPC) 2023. Sneyking showed up for the post-game winner’s interview after the team defeated HellRaisers to earn its first series victory in the playoffs.

After the historic win at TI11, when asked about his feelings, Sneyking made it very clear that it was only momentary happiness and that the rest of the trip lied ahead of him. Kuro “KuroKy” Takhasomi of Nigma Galaxy set out to win three TIs, and Sneyking hopes to follow suit, although in a more systematic manner.

After hoisting the Aegis, I felt wonderful for two seconds before thinking, “I want to win the next one. You are familiar with the Kuro (KuroKy) attitude. You must get the following one, and I intend to break the previous record. In order to surpass OG’s titles, I need to win three times in a row, so I am obviously getting ahead of myself. If I were ever to break that record, it would mean the world to me.

He accepted that different things had happened to his teammates as a result of the win. The squad is not currently in the best of form and is working to get better, according to Sneyking, but attitudes towards the game haven’t altered significantly. “I think there have been changes, but I don’t think there have been any changes in people’s attitudes or egos about the game,” the speaker said. However, everyone is affected differently after such a large victory. There may be some folks who are anxious to win another one. Some people could lose motivation if they’ve already reached the zenith. All people experience it differently.

After taking home the TI trophy, I believe that our team will face some obstacles. Regarding our ability to work as a team and perform well individually, I firmly believe that we are not in the correct shape. It is our goal to improve.

Sneyking continued by listing a few of the top teams as the Lima Major 2023 drew near. He believed that despite TSM having just won Division I, Shopify Rebellion will do better in a LAN environment for North America. From February 22 until March 5, 2023, The Lima Major will be held.
