The Valorant Champions Tour (VCT) off-season is hitting hard with several international tournaments taking place in and around South Asia and South East Asia (SEA). The next official Valorant event featuring some of the best multidisciplinary teams is the Skysports SEA Championship which is set to take place from November 23 to 25.The tournament has a total prize pool of $22,500 USD (INR 18,36,935) and teams from India are being flown to Bangkok, Thailand to negate any ping loss to maintain competitive integrity. Skysports in partnership with Empower is doing its best to deliver some exciting Valorant action.Initially, the online tournament which is officially a part of the VCT offseason circuit only featured teams from the SEA region, but later Indian teams were also added to the mix.

Teams in championship :

Two qualifiers were held to see which teams qualify for the Skysports SEA Championship, one each for SEA and India. Here are the four teams that survived the qualification round :

  • Bleed Esports | SEA Qualifier | Singapore
  • Made in Thailand | SEA Qualifier | Thailand
  • GodSquad (Global Esports) | India Qualifier | India
  • Velocity Gaming | India Qualifier | India

Results and schedule in championship :

The tournament will be held from November 23 to 25 in a double elimination format.

  • Upper Bracket Semifinals on 23rd November
  • Lower Bracket Semifinal, Upper Bracket Final on 24th November
  • Lower Bracket Final, Grand Final on 25th November

Format in championship :

  • With only four teams participating in the main event, the Skysports SEA Championships will follow a straight forward double-elimination bracket.
  • All matches will be best-of-three series except for the Grand Final, which will be a best-of-five faceoff.
  • The winners of the Grand Finals will walk away with the lion’s share of the prize pool along with bragging rights.

Prize Pool in championship :

The tournament will have a total prize pool of $22,500 USD, which will be divided among the finalists only. Apart from this, a small amount will also be given to the MVP (Most Valuable Player) and MVL (Most Valuable Player) of the tournament.
