Taiju punches Takemichi and reveals that they had chosen to kill him first, leaving Takemichi bewildered as to why they would choose murder.
Yuzuha then explains to Takemichi that this was the path they chose and that Tetta had manipulated Hakkai into serving him and taking control over Black Dragon. Taiju is surprised by Takashi’s sudden change of heart, wondering about the truce and if Takashi is a man who breaks his own promises. However, Takashi dismisses his concerns, stating that he doesn’t care about the promise but will never allow anyone to harm his younger sister.
Meanwhile, Manjiro and Ken are riding their bikes on the road. Manjiro wonders if they heard Takashi’s bike before, but Ken explains that he is the only one crazy enough to ride in such weather. Concerned for their safety, Ken suggests they head home. As the tension continues to rise, fans eagerly await the next installment of this thrilling story.

Takemichi wonders why Takashi is there, but Chifuyu explains that he called him for backup, as they cannot let Tetta get away with his plans.
Takashi falls to his knees, but it turns out he was just fixing his shoe. Despite Hakkai’s warnings that he cannot beat Taiju, Takashi continues to fight, determined to protect Hakkai and Yuzuha. The battle rages on, but it becomes clear that Taiju is too strong for Takashi to handle alone.
Suddenly, Taiju calls Seishu for backup, and he hits Takashi in the head with a metal pipe. Hajime also joins in on the fight. Takemichi and Chifuyu charge towards them, but Takashi stops them, knowing that the situation is dire. He explains that Taiju is a monster, and the others will use any means necessary to win. With Takashi unable to fight and Chifuyu badly injured, Takemichi realizes that the fate of Yuzuha rests solely on his shoulders.
Takashi suggests that he and Chifuyu keep the other two at bay, while Takemichi takes on Taiju. Takemichi is confident that Manjiro and the others will come to their aid, but Takashi reveals that he had actually come alone, as this was a personal issue for him. Takemichi is stunned, but Takashi urges him to keep fighting, as Yuzuha’s life is at stake.
Takashi asks Hakkai for his help, knowing that he has been protecting Yuzuha all along. Despite Hakkai’s fear of Taiju, Takashi believes that he can rise to the occasion and help protect Yuzuha. With no other options left, Takemichi agrees to Takashi’s plan and prepares to face off against Taiju, determined to save Yuzuha and put an end to Tetta’s plans once and for all.
