His big performance gave the Royal Ravens a 1–0 lead before the series leading to the Mercado Search and Destroy. In the second map of the series, Scump played like an MVP candidate, posting an 8–2 statline while making one of the greatest plays in the entire series. With the bomb down and time running out for the London side, Scump arrived at the bomb site, fired shots at Paulheux for the kill, and defused the bomb,Gave Texas a 2-1 round advantage. OpTic would win the map 6-2 behind a strong performance from their captain.

Things got off to an auspicious start for Green Wall at Hotel Control trailing 2-0. The loss meant they would need to win both the attacking and defensive rounds to make it to a round five, but thankfully for OpTic, they had the scump. After holding their defensive half, Texas had to capture the B point to keep the game alive. Scump picked up a three-piece, including a grenade kill, to put pressure on London and allow his teammates to pile up the points,Winning the round and pushing it into round five.

OpTic played clinical control from that point, allowing no member of the Royal Ravens to advance towards the final point the London side needed. While Texas extended their lead to 2-1, the Royal Ravens continued to perform in hardpoints, again led by Asim, who had 35 kills on Embassy Hardpoint for a 250-193 London victory.

While London fought very hard to get map five, OpTic completely shut down the Royal Ravens in a decisive fort search and destruction. Thanks to another big-time performance from Scump, who went 7-3 in the map, OpTic took a 5-1 lead, needing just one more round to clinch the map and the series. In a two-vs-two situation, iLLeY peaked around the corner, and landed a shot on both PaulHex and Nasty with his sniper, giving him collateral for the win.

With the win, OpTic is 2-1 with one match left in the online qualifiers. They will take on the defending CDL Champions, the Los Angeles Thieves, on December 11 at 5 PM CT. Meanwhile, the Royal Ravens have gone 2-2 in the online qualifying phase and will take the stage next weekend in Raleigh, North Carolina at the first major event of the season.
