Sasuke’s Tale in Naruto has unveiled the first intense poster for the upcoming arc to give fans a sense of what to anticipate from this new plot, which will be getting its own anime next year! One of the “Shinden” and “Retsuden” spin-off novels that have examined the void between the events of the original series and the Boruto: Naruto Next Generations sequel was the basis for Naruto: Sasuke’s Story – The Uchiha and the Heavenly Stardust. These books have been so popular that, as Boruto: Naruto Next Generations continues to explore its options, they are now getting their own manga and anime adaptations. Naruto: Sasuke’s Story – The Uchiha and the Heavenly Stardust spin-off novel will be fully adapted before the anime adaptation of Boruto: Naruto Next Generations begins the next manga arc in February of this year. This is an attempt by the anime to buy time before the manga adaptation. This unique spin-off, which will begin in Boruto: Naruto Next Generations somewhere in January 2023 before the anime returns to the manga’s content with the Code arc the following month, provides a new perspective on Sasuke and Sakura before the events of the sequel series. Viz Media has licenced the original light novel series for official English distribution. The original Naruto: Sasuke’s Story – The Uchiha and the Heavenly Stardust novel is authored by Jun Esaka with unique elements added by the original series creator Masashi Kishimoto.

The manga adaptation of Naruto: Sasuke’s Narrative is also currently available through the Shonen Jump digital library, and Viz Media teases the spin-off story as such “Far from the Land of Fire, Uchiha Sasuke makes his way to an observatory for astronomy. He meets Sakura there, and the two of them launch an undercover investigation to look for signs of the Sage of Six Paths. They stumble across a strategy that extends beyond life and death, as well as a conflict that will put this couple to the test till death do them part.”
