S8UL Esports, one of India’s biggest gaming groups, features formidable teams competing in mobile games such as Battlegrounds Mobile India, Free Fire, Clash of Clans, and Call of Duty Mobile. With the formation of their own roster for Pokemon UNITE, they are now expanding into the emerging mobile online battle arena (MOBA) genre.

We can deduce from the timing that they want to compete in the future Pokemon World Championship 2022 for India or the South Asian region. Pokemon UNITE has established itself as a strong MOBA game on mobile devices since its release in 2021. Many casual gamers have begun to play it in their spare time due to its fixed 10-minute matches, distinctive layout, and easy yet compelling gameplay. Now it appears that UNITE’s creators want to establish a thriving esports scene with professional teams competing at the highest levels.

Last year, Pokemon UNITE was released in India, and it quickly became a favorite among mobile gamers. Pokemon UNITE has given gamers, particularly those who were disappointed when Mobile Legends: Bang Bang was banned on June 5, 2020, a way to continue playing their favorite genre. Even Indian esports organizations have begun to recognize the possibilities of this 5v5 game, with some even announcing own Pokemon UNITE rosters.

They will have a substantial edge over subsequent teams by being early, since members of S8UL’s roster will be able to better practice, strategize, and coordinate their plays. The following Pokemon are part of the Pokemon UNITE roster:

  • S8UL Kaz
  • S8UL Chipmunk
  • S8UL Snowyy
  • S8UL Siegfried
  • S8UL Voxzeon
  • S8UL Talib

These are only the rosters’ in-game names, and we’re hoping S8UL Esports will reveal more information about them shortly. After Pokemon UNITE was launched in India, other members of S8UL, such as Regaltos and Mortal, played it on occasion. As a result of the new lineup, we can anticipate them becoming more involved in the competitive scene of the game, as well as more information about the Pokemon World Championships 2022.
