The year-long esports competition, which featured several competitive games, has come to an end with the Valorant event, which was played over LAN during the last two days, January 5 and 6, 2018. Six teams in total, competing in a single-elimination bracket with each match consisting of a best-of-three series, had made it through the four qualifiers held the previous year and were now competing in the main event.

Due to the fact that they were the first two teams to qualify for the main event, Lethal Esports and Revenant Esports got the opportunity to begin playing right away from the semi-final stage. By making the most of this advantage, both sides were able to advance to the championship match, setting up a thrilling contest that was decided by a narrow margin.

With both teams choosing an almost identical squad of agents that placed a strong emphasis on gathering intelligence and seizing control, Lethal Esports got things going with a thrilling overtime victory on its chosen map Pearl, 14-12. In the following map, Revenant Esports battled back and dealt the opposing team a 13-7 defeat that undoubtedly put them on the back foot and adversely impacted their morale. This was made clear on Haven when Revenant once more humiliated Lethal by a score of “13-9” to take the series lead.

The match continued to the final stage, Breeze, where Revenant Esports found its last piece of strength to push back and earn a 13-10 victory. Despite being on the verge of being eliminated, Lethal was able to survive with a 13-11 triumph on Ascent. Revenant Esports won the Esportz Premier Series Valorant tournament with a 3-2 victory and took home INR 2,50,000 in prize money.
