Reckoning Esports, one of India’s most successful esports teams, has parted ties with their BGMI roster. Fans were taken aback by the move, as the team had done admirably in the Battleground Mobile India Series 2021, finishing eighth in the finals.

“It’s unfortunate to announce that we have to part ways with our BGMI team. Along the sweet journey, we had the chance to witness many ups and downs, challenges, and trophies that were only possible because of the hard work, skills, and potential of each of our players. The support from the fans was always overwhelming. Though, some things have to come to an end. We wish the team nothing but the very best for their future endeavors. On a good note, we hope to meet them again in the battlegrounds, but this time on the other side, in the future soon! “

“Thank you for your support,” MrSpray wrote on his Instagram storey in response to the development. Best wishes for your upcoming lineup.”

“Players also separated guys,” Maxy wrote in an Instagram post.

Before joining Reckoning Esports, Maxy and MrSpray were members of Team Tamilas. The team came in fourth place in PMCO 2020 Spring, was a finalist in PMPL, and came in seventh place in PMIS 2020. Skrillzz was also a member of Team Tamilas and briefly represented Nigma Galaxy.

Reckoning Esports revealed the lineup shortly after the game’s launch. The roster, on the other hand, did not live up to expectations. In August, they won a third-party competition called ‘The Esports Club.’ Since then, however, the team has been unable to make a big impression on the esports scene.

In the BGIS 2021 Quarterfinals, the team finished as table toppers and advanced for the semifinals where they finished in tenth place. The squad finished ninth in the finals after an average performance.
