If players are looking to give their operator a unique look in Rainbow Six Extraction without going to the in-game shop, Archaean outfits might be the best option. These hidden, secret skins dress specific operators as Archaean versions of them, which also come as Protean bosses during some missions.
Besides three operator-specific uniforms and headgear, Extraction also drops a universal weapon skin and three gun charms based on whoever you matched up against. There are only three Proteans skins available: Alibi, Smoke, Sledge. This availability shows the rosters of the three Proteans we’ve found in missions as of now.
Here’s how players can get Archaean outfits if they are looking for a change of scenery or just want to scare their teammates into believing they are Archaean.

These outfits are likely to be dropped from Proteans when they appear during a mission objective known as Gateway. This objective will task players with fighting a Protean, which is an Archaean version of Alibi, Smoke, or Sledge.
After players manage to defeat the Protean, it can drop one of the several unique cosmetics. The drops players get are based on who they are fighting. This means taking down Protean Sledge will likely give you cosmetics for Sledge while taking down Alibi will score you her headgear and/or uniform.
Apart from operator-specific cosmetics, players can also get their hands on three universal gun charms and a universal gun skin. The Gateway objective that triggers a Protean fight will only show up in Cautious difficulty or harder, so if layers wish to farm Protean outfits, the easiest way is to deploy solo and extract if they don’t get the Protean fight as an objective.
