PUBG Mobile has been teasing a new map for players to experiment with, for a really long time. The release of Karakin was slated with the 1.3 Update and it is now being anticipated that it is going to come in place of the Vikendi map. The PUBG Mobile 1.3 Update is currently going on with season 18 with the Hundred Rhythms Mode.

According to the patch notes of PUBG Mobile Update 1.3, the Karakin map is dry, much like Miramar. Karakin is a small map, much like Livik, and runs into 2×2 Kms and can have a maximum of 64 players.

One never seen before feature in the game is the Demolition Zone which will define the Karakin map largely. It will spice up the gameplay by reducing the number of hideouts on the map. The Demolition Zone turns the buildings into nothing, ensuring players cannot hide inside the buildings.

The most interesting addition is the sticky bomb that can destroy a wall when thrown at a wall. What is interesting is that there are some “hidden spaces” that can be accessed only after you destroy buildings with the help of a sticky bomb. A new firearm called Panzerfaust that shoots rockets will also get introduced. There is also a new Mosin Nagant Sniper rifle.

PUBG Mobile also has a new motor glider which can be found around Erangel and Miramar maps. It is a two-person vehicle with a driver’s seat and the one on the passenger seat will be able to use weapons. PUBG Mobile version 1.3 also brings a new Arena map called Code-C.
