PUBG Mobile Korea (PUBG Mobile Kr) took to Instagram to announce they will be banning global users from playing this particular version of the game in the coming days. This multi-fold process will be carried out in various stages, and as for Indian users, they will not be able to use or log in to the game from June 30 2021.

The makers haven’t stated any other reason besides their will to provide better service of the game to the Korean region players.

“KRJP build is a version of local service for users living in Korea or Japan. For those who living in other countries or regions, your local version or Global version is available.” PUBG Mobile Korea’s official statement read.

PUBG Mobile Korea became the go-to alternative when PUBG Mobile’s Global version was banned in India on September 2 2020.

“[Changes of KRJP build]

1) From 2021/05/01, users out of Korea or Japan who log in with KRJP build accounts are not able to settle the payment in KRJP build.

2) From 2021/05/01, users out of Korea or Japan who log in with KRJP build accounts might find network troubles during the play.

3) From 2021/06/30, users out of Korea or Japan who log in with KRJP build accounts are not able to log in anymore.

(For Users living in India the upper three changes will be put into effect from 2021/06/30 together.)” the notes for the regions other than Korea and Japan read.

From May 1, 2021, players from other regions will not have limited access to the in-game facilities like making payments. These restrictions will be fully implemented from 30th June 2021 and players from other regions are likely to get a notification saying “Source Error: Area Restricted”.

This news comes as a shock for most PUBG Mobile Korea (PUBG Mobile Kr) players since they took to other versions ever since a ban on the Global version was announced. Adding to this, dates on the release of PUBG Mobile India haven’t been released, which is a major setback for players who were looking forward to playing the game.
