PUBG Esports has released its roadmap for 2023, introducing the Global Partner Team program along with esports titles. Partner teams will be selected from current PUBG Esports teams through a screening process, developer KRAFTON announced. Membership is also expected to be reviewed annually. The number of organizations that will be selected as partner teams has not been disclosed. PUBG eSports has revealed that partner teams will get a range of financial benefits. Following the success of both the PUBG Nations Cup and the PUBG Global Championship, both the competitions will continue to take place in 2023. Although PGC was already expected, it is certainly a good news for the PUBG scene that PNC will continue next year. Similar to other partner programs like VCT and HCS, PUBG eSports has revealed that partner teams will get a range of financial benefits.

This includes the creation of team-branded in-game items that see profit generated from the items shared with partner teams.The teams will also be guaranteed a slot to participate in the PUBG Global Series (PGS), which returns after an absence of two years. For 2023, the PGS will be a completely offline tournament with two parts next year – April and September.

This series will replace the PUBG Continental Series. With the announcement of the return of the PUBG Global Series, the eSports ecosystem will also include the PUBG Nations Cup as well as its premiere event, the PUBG Global Championship.Looking ahead to the future, PUBG Esports also revealed that it will be opening a dedicated esports arena in Korea, set to open in the first half of 2024. The official announcement for PUBG Esports reads: “We want this arena to be an exclusive, unique venue that provides a place for our professionals and fans to enjoy the thrill of PUBG Esports anytime.

The 2023 roadmap for PUBG Esports follows the conclusion of this year’s PUBG Global Championship. The event, which was eventually won by Ukrainian esports organization NAVI, recorded a peak viewership of 185,793 per esports chart. The screening process is expected to begin after the 2022 PUBG Global Championship.PUBG has become the latest esports title to adopt the Partner Team program for its eSports ecosystem. Valorant’s partner teams were officially unveiled in September, and the Halo Championship Series has continued to announce partners. Apart from this, the racing game will also adopt partner team system for Trackmania 2023.
