Pokémon Go introduces a new method of purchasing goods, but the offers are absurd

The limited-time offers and exclusive bundles that this new store promised have so far failed to entice Pokémon fans. Fans are even responding to the web-exclusive Ultra Legend Box on social media with clown and laughing emojis rather than pulling out their wallets.

Pokémon Go Web Store, which enables users to buy PokéCoins and other bundles outside of the mobile app, was unveiled by Niantic yesterday. The limited-time offers and exclusive bundles that this new store promised have so far failed to entice Pokémon fans. Fans are even responding to the web-exclusive Ultra Legend Box on social media with clown and laughing emojis rather than pulling out their wallets.

A passage from a recent Dot Esports interview with Pokémon Go director Michael Steranka is included in one of the in-question tweets. If you need more information about Pokémon Go introducing a new method of purchasing goods, but the offers are absurd, then read carefully, and don’t forget to share with your friends.

Pokémon Go introduces a new method of purchasing goods, but the offers are absurd:

Steranka said in that May 18 report that his team had been developing new products that would “really blow people away,” but fans are using the statement to express how unimpressed they are with the store. Two Elite Charged TMs, two Elite Fast TMs, ten Super Incubators, and five Premium Battle Passes are included in the Ultra Legend Box, which costs $24.99.

Players aren’t taking Niantic’s updates seriously and don’t intend to buy the web bundle, as evidenced by the abundance of laughing and clown emojis. If Niantic had instead included Remote Raid Passes for a fair price in the package, especially in light of the ongoing controversy, it might have helped reduce tensions. Several devoted gamers concur that the Ultra Legend Box is disappointing.

Before we even discuss why no one should purchase one of these boxes, let’s just note that during a raiding event, all raid boxes were removed from the store. You do receive five free raid passes for spinning gyms, but after that, the cost of raiding in person and raiding from home became the same. As we now violate Niantic’s philosophy, sitting at home and raiding would allow you to perform more raids for the same cost per raid because you wouldn’t have to travel between gyms.

Despite the bonus coins you receive when buying through the Pokémon Go Web Store, the PokéCoin bundles are also unappealing in addition to the disappointing box. The players who are already used to buying PokéCoins online might benefit from this website’s exclusive offer, but other players won’t be persuaded to join in.

Positively, there’s always a possibility that the Pokémon Go Web Store will offer superior bundles and discounts in the future. But it’s not exactly off to a good start.
