Cliff can sometimes feel like the toughest Team Rocket Go Leader, so it’s only natural you may need a little bit of extra help.
With help from our Pokémon Go Cliff counters guide, you will soon have a team full of strong Pokémon to take into battle. We have also gone ahead and listed all of the available rewards you can get your hands on by knocking out all three of the Team Rocket Go leaders’ Pokémon.
Currently, Cliff’s first Pokémon is always the Grass-type, Seedot. Luckily, it’s fairly easy to beat, so we recommend choosing a Pokémon that is also super effective against the remaining members of his team.
Crobat – Air Slash and Shadow Ball or Sludge Bomb
Dialga – Dragon Breath and Iron Head or Draco Meteor

Torterra has numerous weaknesses, you should have no trouble if your team includes strong Dragon, Fire, or Flying-types.

Ho-Oh – Incinerate and Brave Bird or Earthquake
Reshiram – Dragon Breath and Crunch or Overheat

Sylveon – Charm and Moonblast or Last Resort

Poliwrath is tough to take down, but weak to Grass or Psychic-types moves. These are the Pokémon you should put in your team.

You’re lucky if Sharpedo is one of the Pokémon Cliff uses, as it can be knocked out easily with Fighting, Electric, and Grass-types counters.
