The biggest festival in the PUBG Mobile Esports world finally has a date. PUBG Mobile Global Championship 2022 is going to be held in the early winter of 2022 and teams from all across the various versions will get a slot after winning their region’s tournament. According to reports, the PUBG Mobile Global Championship (PMGC) 2022 will start on November 22, 2022, and end with the Grand Finals on January 23, 2023. After that, the world will get their new world champion.

PMGC 2022 Format

The competition will adhere to the same rules and format as in previous years. Each of the eligible teams will take part in a league stage. The best teams from the league stage will fight in the grand finals to win the trophy and the majority of the $4 million prize pool after the league stage concludes.

PMGC 2022 Prize Pool

While the Global Championship has had a history of having a huge prize pool, this year has seen bit of a downfall in that number. The prize fund for the PMGC this year is $4 million. Despite being a decrease from the huge prize pool of $6 million from the previous year, it is a lot for players and their teams.

Multiple Slots For China In PMGC 2022

Chinese teams were given two berths in the PMGC’s inaugural edition, which was raised to three the following year. This year, it will be raised once more to make room for four Chinese teams on the main PUBG Mobile Esports stage.

The PEL 2022 Summer champion will receive a straight invite to the PMGC Grand Finals under the revised qualification procedure. While the second- and third-placed clubs will be given invitations to participate in league play. There will be one spot left to compete for among the 18 remaining teams.
