Genshin Impact surely won the Players’ Voice award during this year’s edition of The Game Awards, and on this occasion, the game’s maker, miHoYo, is giving some rewards to the gamers themselves. The maker declared this week that it is decided to give out Primogems to the community in a couple of days, Primogems that’d be distributed right to gamers’ mailboxes without them taking any action. The Primogem giveaway was declared on Twitter and was expected after Genshin Impact won the award. Genshin Impact gamers receive Primogems for many different events and occasions containing maintenance issues and other minor complications, so Primogems was the minimum possibility after this. Gamers will receive 800 Primogems, with 200 of them given away every day between December 10th and December 13th, so now, gamers should begin seeing the rewards landing in their mailboxes.

Also, the Genshin Impact award received at The Game Awards was not without the scene itself. While the awards handed out at the event are voted on by a committee of experts, which makes the decision of who wins what, the Players’ Voice award was the exception in that it’s the only one that’s entirely decided by what gamers are voting on. As such, the votes go to Genshin Impact and Sonic Frontiers, and the voting procedure sometimes gets a bit terrible. Sonic the Hedgehog fans believed some botting happened to push the votes in Genshin Impact’s favor, and it looks like there might’ve been some validity to that, provided that it was stated during the awards show the votes were counted. The winner was selected after the bots were eliminated.

However, Genshin Impact was the winner, so now its community is receiving some Primogems. Look for those in your mailbox begun on Friday, with more anticipated to be sent out over the next few days.
