Player Count is Decreasing in Call of Duty: Warzone 2?

As per the Steam data, the Call of Duty: Warzone 2 gamer count has been decreased since the battle royale’s release in November. Expectation was big leading up to Call of Duty: Warzone 2’s launch, as many Call of Duty gamers felt disappointed by the deduction of Verdansk and the beginning of the divisive Caldera map in the original game. It’s usual for video games to remove gamers over time, but while it’s not as huge of a deal for single-gamer games or more conventional multiplayer games, it’s a big issue for live service games. Live service games are constructed to keep gamers involved for the long-term, and this expects makers to regularly invest resources into generating new content for the games. Call of Duty: Warzone 2 is an ongoing service, and despite fresh content appearing for the game on a constant basis, it is still lacking the attention of some gamers.

As stared in a report by Gfinity Esports, the number of the players for the Steam version of Call of Duty: Warzone 2 are slowly decreasing. In November, Warzone 2 nearly about 223,000 gamers on Steam at any given time, but that lessened 20% in December. Number of players in Call of Duty: Warzone 2 has since decreasing another 16% in the last 30 days. With no crucial fresh games launched that would be in direct game with Warzone 2, that’s not a huge indication for the battle royale moving ahead.

The decent thing about a live service game, however, is that Warzone 2 could very nicely bounce backward with great updates.
