One of the most iconic video game characters that belongs to the arcade era, Pac-Man, is coming to Fortnite. While details of the crossover are scarce, the announcement will surely bring together Pac-Man and Fortnite players as we inch closer to Chapter 3 Season 3.
Recently, Pac-Man celebrated its 42nd anniversary and thanked the community for showering love and support over the years. Moreover, it also took to its social media handles to honor of the occasion, saying they’re “going to party all week,” which might be a hint at a surprise announcement.

Hours later, the game’s developer announced a collaboration with Epic Games and Fortnite through the game’s official Japanese website. As per the blog post, the developers will be bringing Pac-Man to Fortnite with items featuring the “Pac-Man motif” and the crossover will start on 2nd June 2022.
Epic Games is yet to confirm the Fortnite x Pac-Man crossover event, but a detailed announcement seems imminent. While the collaboration will bring Pac-Man items to the Item Shop, players can see new cosmetics like back bling or a Creative Island mode based on Pac-Man.
The collaboration date seems interesting as rumours have speculated that Fortnite Chapter 3 Season 3 will start on 4th June 2022. While players are waiting for official confirmation from Epic Games regarding the Pac-Man collaboration along with the date of Fortnite Chapter 3 Season 3.
