Overwatch 2 has received an overwhelming response ever since it came out last October. It is a free-to-play title and has taken a fairly odd route to monetization and events, with the Battle for Olympus aligning perfectly with its approach.

Many players are curious to know how long they have to compete in the game on the Battle for Olympus leaderboard. This limited-period free for all map lets players take on seven different champions who come with their unique buffs, especially for this limited-time event. In this article, we will discuss all the information players need to know about the end date for Overwatch 2’s Battle for Olympus mode.

When is Overwatch 2’s Battle for Olympus ending?

As per Blizzard’s official blog post, the Battle for Olympus mode in the game ended on January 19. Players had a limited time to unlock free rewards and take advantage of the new cosmetics and bundles that were present in the shop.

It gave players one last opportunity to show which hero is the best for this event. The hero with the highest number of kills overall will get a statue in the Illios Ruins arena map for the entirety of the game. This proved to be a great opportunity for some players to showcase that their heroes are the best in Overwatch 2.

How to fix the unexpected server error in Overwatch 2

Overwatch 2 players started following it on platforms like Twitch and YouTube. The unexpected server error occurs because of the system overload in the game. Since this is a server-side error, players can try joining another game and hope they do not get the same error message yet again.

While resetting the game could fix the error, it is simply because of the time taken to retry the queue again. Because of this, the best bet for players currently is to be patient and try again while the server’s issues are worked out during the beta.
