New map in Overwatch 2 season 3

Overwatch 2 is bringing its first new Control map called Antarctic Peninsula Control Map. This snow-themed map has ‘some unique sights,’ which add an ice-breaker ship and an underground drilling station. The map will come with various flank routes and some of them will even give a high-ground benefit over high-traffic areas and goals.

New theme and skin in Overwatch 2 season 3

Overwatch’s roster includes heroes from Korea, Japan, and China. The game now has Asian Mythology as the theme for season 3. This season will have unique skins and some folklore connections.

Gamers who will finish the  Premium Battle Pass will be eligible to obtain the Amaterasu Kiriko Mythic skin. The newest skin is based on numerous Gods in Japanese mythology. It will also have customisations that gamers can mix and match themed for the moon, the sea, and storms. The skin will also has themed headpieces and a fresh look for Kiriko’s spirit fox.

More rewards in Overwatch 2 season 3

Season 3 will also give additional rewards just for logging in and playing the game. Gamers will be eligible to obtain 10 additional tiers of rewards on the zero cost track, along with the 1500 credits to receive and spend in the Hero Gallery. 

Overwatch 2 will even include 500 credits to the Premium track.

Blizzard has included almost all Epic and Legendary event hero skins from the original Overwatch (300 total) to the Hero Gallery. These skins will be there to buy with Overwatch coins or credits. The gaming studio has also reduced the cost of those Legendary skins from 1900 credits to 1500 credits.

The fresh season will give four earnable skins outside of the Battle Pass via in-game events. With season 3, the game will also give the first five free tiers of rewards in the Battle Pass for logging in during our first week.

Overwatch 2 season 3 also come with a Valentine’s day in-game event, a One-Punch Man collab, a fresh Streamer mode and accessibility developments and more.
