Recently, Blizzard has declared that every season in Overwatch 2 should be of nine weeks. Consequently given Season 2 started on December 6, we expect Season 3 should start on Tuesday, February 7 2023. Determining everything goes to Blizzard’s plan, that would also settle the end date of Season 3 nine weeks after at Tuesday, April 11 2023.
Blizzard hasn’t disclosed enough details about the Season 3 just yet. Prior to the release, the maker ensured that it would launch maps and heroes on a rotating seasonal plan after the first couple of seasons.
The oddity for this was the first couple of seasons, with each of them receiving both a new hero as well as a new map. Nonetheless, we’ve presently surpassed that limit, and so the actual schedule now pertains.
