Despite all of the new content, gamers are already waiting for 2023 and what content Season 3 might come up with. Fortunately, even though it’s still the beginning days of Season 2, there are some hints on what we can get from the following important update.
There is no official beginning date for Season 3, but we’d say it might come on Tuesday, February 7, 2023.
Seasons in Overwatch is said to be there for nine weeks, so this date is right when considering Season 2’s beginning date of December 6. Still, we’ll have to wait until later to watch if Blizzard shakes up the plan.
Will a new Hero arrive in Overwatch 2 Season 3?
The latest characters are often crucial when they arrive in the game, but, unfortunately, there will not be a new Hero in Season 3.
The makers have ensured that fresh maps and Heroes will change between seasons after Season 2. Since we got Ramattra with the previous crucial content launch, gamers will have to wait until Season 4 so that we can see the latest face.
While gamers will surely be disheartened that any new Hero will not arrive, Blizzard’s plan to shift launches does imply that the latest map will be added in Season 3.
