The Overwatch 2 community is convinced that they have found who the next support hero will be. Recently, Overwatch developers revealed a lot of information about two upcoming heroes saying they will be “cute” similar to Mercy.

The devs also teased that the next support hero’s kit will come with “mechanics that will be really interesting to watch unfold in high-level games” and will be different from other heroes.

Although that’s all the developers revealed about Season 4’s new hero so far, players have used that information to come up with a few prime candidates from existing Overwatch lore.

Overwatch 2 Season 4 support hero

In a Reddit post that went viral, a user pointed out an interesting interaction between D.VA and Tracer.

“D.Va and Tracer already have a rare interaction concerning Overlord that I think many people likely aren’t aware of. Do you think he will be one of the next two ‘cute’ support heroes?” a fan wrote.

There is a line where D.VA tells Tracer she will “have to introduce you to Overlord,” adding that he’s the best pilot she knows. Overlord is among the MEKA squad members, a group of South Korean pilots who work with D.VA to prevent the country from any threats.

Last year, the developers suggested that they were interested in adding more of the MEKA squad as heroes but warned they had “no official plans” for doing so.

Overwatch 2 hero can be from a comic

Other fans came up with different theories about Season 4’s support hero. In another post that became popular, a user suggested that Lynx 17 could be the next hero. While some fans are still doubtful that another Omnic hero would embrace the game soon after Ramattra.

Season 4 of Overwatch 2 is slated to kick off in April, and it’s possible that the new hero will be revealed soon after that. Only time will tell what the developers have in mind for the fans.

How can players check their endorsement in Overwatch 2?

There are some ways for players to see their endorsement level. The fastest way to do it is right from the main menu. In the top right corner of the screen, players will see their name, icon, and banner. If players right-click on their name, they will see a condensed version of their career profile. This will show them their equipped title and their endorsement level, which appears as a number within a small circle next to their name.

In Overwatch 2, endorsement levels go from one to five. If players come across a teammate with a level five endorsement level, they’re probably in for a great game, even if they lose.

If players don’t play the game or don’t get endorsed for a while, their level will decrease. The only way to see what players have endorsed, players will have to pay attention to their screen at the very end of a game.
