Attending the begin of the new year, Overwatch 2 is getting ready to release its new event that will glorify the Lunar New Year: Year of the Rabbit. This should not arrive as a surprise since Blizzard has organized an yearly in-game Lunar New Year Event for gamers to look into. Like last years, this version of the seasonal update will comes up with the themed skins and other cosmetics. While gamers should have the chance to get more skins in the festivities, these forthcoming Twitch drops give gamers another avenue for receiving some in-game loot.

The following batch of Legendary Twitch drops for Overwatch 2 was declared in a message from the official Overwatch Twitter account. As per the maker, gamers can receive Lunar New Year-themed cosmetics by tuning in to see drops-enabled Twitch channels between 11th January and will end at 25th January. These cosmetics adds Moira’s Lion Roars Victory Pose, received after seeing two hours, and the Mask Dancer Moira Legendary skin, received by watching four hours of Twitch content. With the drops now here, gamers can begin racking up hours with a Battle.net linked account to get the cosmetics.

The beginning of these Twitch drops does not occur with the launch of the Lunar New Year update for Overwatch 2. While gamers can start seeing Twitch streams to obtain the Moria cosmetics, the event does not begin until January 17, as per ll a Blizzard roadmap image of Season 2 of Overwatch 2. In inclusion, gamers can only receive the Moria-specific Twitch drops until January 25, while the Lunar New Year festivities are planned to proceed until February 6.
