Players who signed up for the closed beta of Overwatch 2 are already getting the game. To help others, Blizzard Entertainment has provided a method to gain access using Twitch Drops.

How to link Battle.net to Twitch?

The procedure to link both accounts is a straightforward process and be done within a few minutes.

Go to twitch.com or open the Twitch app to begin the linking process.
Once done, players should log in to their Twitch account by using their credentials.
After logging in, go to the ‘Settings’ then ‘Connections’ tab under it. Players will find many platforms to which they can link their Twitch account.
Players should tap the ‘Connect’ button and log in to their Battle.net account. Players will log in to their account and link their account with Twitch.

If players want to unlink their Battle.net account and their Twitch account, it can be done at any time by going to the ‘Connections’ section in the ‘Settings’ and selecting the ‘Disconnect’ option.

How to get the Overwatch 2 beta from Twitch Drops?

To get Overwatch 2 beta access as a drop, players should start watching any stream that has game drops enabled. If they get a drop from the stream, they will get a notification on Twitch regarding the reward.

Once they get the drop, they can use their Battle.net client to install Overwatch 2 beta on their system. The game will be available for free to players who have the previous game purchased on their account. The release date isn’t known when the sequel might make a debut, but a statement regarding the release date can be expected from Blizzard Entertainment after the beta test is concluded.
