The Overwatch 2 developers are aware of the fact that their FPS title is very competitive. The voice chat of the game can be as competitive as the game, with teammates trading insults at each other. Picking the wrong hero can make teammates lose their tempers, and if you happen to be a healer, who is really bad at their job, well be prepared for an earful.

Well, there might be no point in fighting in competitive, as it could ruin the game for everyone else as well. Instead of hurling abuses at each other, players should settle for some old-school technique.

The concept of one on one fights has been in the gaming scene since the days of dueling. Games such as the old Modern Warfare introduced intensity in the gameplay, paving the way for a different kind of gameplay that ensures players have an exhilarating experience.

It’s among the best ways that players can use to showcase their skills while shutting down teammates that are picking on them or opponents. Well, Blizzard offers a way to take arguments to the 1v1 servers.

How to make a 1v1 server in Overwatch 2?

To go 1v1 with another player in Overwatch 2, players will have to navigate and go to the Custom Games tab. Then they will have to invite their Overwatch 2 opponent and change the rules to suit however they want to approach the battle.

Players will be able to find the settings option at the top right-hand corner of the screen. They will have to go to “Modes” and then select elimination. It works on a one-death-per-round basis, which means after every kill, the next round will start.

Besides, it’s a great way for players to practice their aim. Hit the 1v1 server and take a friend along so players can warm up before jumping straight into the action in the competitive server. This will help players keep their aim crisp and hopefully assist them in their quest to go high in the ranks.

Overwatch 2 current player count

As per Blizzard, over 25 million players have tried their hands at Overwatch 2. The company previously sent out a press release to confirm the numbers. There is no other way to verify this stat, as Blizzard doesn’t reveal its player statistics. The game had only launched a few days ago the release was sent out, making this a huge number for such a short span of time.
