The latest chapter of One Punch Man sees Saitama and Tatsumaki engaged in a tense face-off atop a towering building. Despite the gravity of the situation, Saitama expresses his concern about the collateral damage caused by their fight and proposes that they relocate to the Hero Association headquarters, which is quite a distance away. To his surprise, Tatsumaki agrees, but with a twist – she offers to transport him there by grabbing him by the head and dragging him through the asphalt streets, leaving a trail of destruction in their wake.
As they move towards the Hero Association headquarters, Tatsumaki spots someone approaching from behind who is fast enough to be a monster or hero. But, it turns out to be none other than Speed-o’-Sound Sonic, a fan-favorite character who had been missing for a long time. This exciting moment was eagerly awaited by fans, and it made the chapter even more enjoyable.
Speed-o’-Sound Sonic arrives, determined to defeat Saitama with his heat-seeking missile shuriken. However, Tatsumaki, who is present, foils his plans by using her psychic powers to redirect the shuriken back at him. Sonic didn’t anticipate her involvement in the fight, and his plan to take down Saitama fails as a result.
Speed-o’-Sound Sonic is taken aback by Tatsumaki’s ability to redirect his heat-seeking shuriken. He tries to evade them with his acrobatic moves, but even with his lightning-fast reflexes, he finds it difficult to avoid them all. However, his downfall comes in the form of a dog’s poop that he accidentally steps on while trying to dodge the shuriken. The brief loss of balance is all it takes for the shuriken to hit him, and he goes down in a fiery explosion. In his final moments, he curses Saitama, mistakenly believing that he was responsible for deflecting the shuriken back at him. The irony of his defeat lies in the fact that his one true weakness, besides Saitama, turns out to be a mundane thing like dog poop.
Saitama and Tatsumaki find themselves in a deserted area, free from any concern of collateral damage. Saitama encourages Tatsumaki to go all out, which angers her, as she feels he is underestimating her abilities. In response, Tatsumaki decides to unleash the full extent of her power, eager to prove Saitama wrong. However, their battle is interrupted, and the outcome remains uncertain.
The scene shifts to the Blizzard group, still reeling from Fubuki’s decision to disband them due to their perceived weakness. Some members give up entirely, feeling there is no purpose in staying. However, one member, Eyelashes, refuses to give up and decides to chase after Fubuki. But he has no idea what he’s in for as Fubuki is currently witnessing the intense battle between Tatsumaki and Saitama. The sheer power on display is awe-inspiring, and it’s clear that Eyelashes is in for a shock when he catches up with Fubuki.
Kings struggles to reach Saitama’s apartment due to the elevator not working, while destruction from the battle fills the area. Saitama suddenly appears and greets King, but before they can chat, Tatsumaki charges in and has a humorous face-off with King. The chapter ends here.
